Crisp House
The 10,000 sq. ft Crisp House has three suite floors with a total of six bedrooms. It has G+3 floors and a terrace floor with a home theatre, spa, and sundeck. It is also a House to Live and to Celebrate…. on the flick of a switch it switches from LIVE mode to CELEBRATE mode. Crisp House is a very dear project to kenAR Architects. We first began working on it in 1998 and worked on it recently in January 2023. The most recent work was upgrading the sundeck railings on the terrace to make them “kid-safe”. To let the small kid grab on and stand without using it as a ladder, all horizontal bars were replaced with vertical ones.
Panaroma
With 45 floors of Promont and 20 floors of the building contributing to its towering height of 65 floors, this penthouse offers breath-taking views of the entire city skyline. Our design philosophy for this project prioritized the enjoyment of panoramic 360° views, which is reflected in every aspect of the interior design, from the parapet wall cladding to the neutral and non-descript flooring materials. To enhance the experience of being immersed in the outside world, wind breaker glass is installed on the open terraces. Inside the penthouse, the viewer gallery serves as a three-bedroom house for a family of four and parents, providing a unique opportunity to witness natural phenomena such as a full rainbow, bright sunshine, heavy thunderstorms, and the coexistence of rain and sunshine forming a rainbow all at the same time.
The Corner House
The tale behind the creation of an enormous 15,000 sq. ft house on a linear site. The challenges were plenty, and the client, a railway contractor, kept us on our toes, leaving us both confused and struggling to find our footing. In the midst of our search for the perfect design solution, we stumbled upon the works of Piet Mondrian, the legendary artist renowned for his abstract masterpieces. Little did we know that this discovery would become the key to unlocking our creative potential.
As the construction unfolded, the linear site began to transform into a symphony of harmonious spaces. The bold lines intersected with elegance, creating a rhythm that echoed throughout the house. Every room, every corridor, and every corner became a canvas where Mondrian's spirit danced in perfect harmony with the client's dreams.
The Palace Promised
Our enterprise was blessed when our client, filled with profound emotions, made the heart-wrenching decision to sell the house they once called home—an ancestral property steeped in memories that brought tears to everyone's eyes, especially the father. In that poignant moment, the youngest of three brothers, driven by an unwavering promise, vowed to create a haven fit for royalty—a palace that would forever be etched in the family's legacy. It is with great humility and gratitude that we, as architects, were chosen to transform this heartfelt promise into a tangible reality.
Situated atop a hill, commanding breath-taking views, this sprawling masterpiece sits on approximately 4 to 5 acres of land. With a total built-up area of 30,000 square feet and an impressive eight bedrooms, it embodies the magnificence and grandeur befitting a true palace.
However, amidst the awe-inspiring progress, life dealt a bitter blow. Sadly, the father, to whom the house was promised, departed for his heavenly abode during the course of the project. In tribute to his memory and the love that bound the family together, we decided to dedicate a significant wall in the grand staircase—a memorial that would forever honour his presence. Collaborating with skilled artisans from Mysore, we brought forth a masterpiece of craftsmanship. A colossal wall, crafted meticulously using 300 cubic feet of exquisite Teak wood, now stands as a testament to the family's love, strength, and enduring bond. Let us transport you into a world of exquisite details, where every corner speaks volumes about dedication, and the power of design.
Mariott House
This project started with a simple yet powerful hint from our esteemed tech client: "Marriott Hotel is my favourite, and I always stay in it." With this statement as our guiding light, we embarked on a mission to bring the essence of Marriott's unparalleled hospitality to life within the confines of a magnificent 4000 sq ft penthouse.
As architects, we understood the weight of this task. Our goal was not simply to replicate the luxurious ambiance of a Marriott hotel, but to capture its essence and weave it seamlessly into this exclusive residential space. We wanted to create an experience that would transport our client and their guests to a world of refined elegance and unparalleled comfort.

Makrana House
Our client, hailing from the enchanting town of Makrana, carried within them a deep connection and admiration for Makrana White marble. And so, the stage was set, with Makrana White marble becoming the foundation of our design palette. But it didn't stop there. Another element emerged, woven into the fabric of our client's vision - the allure of Teak Wood. The collaboration between Makrana marble and Teak Wood proved to be a stroke of genius, elevating the spaces to new heights of sophistication and grandeur.
Fast forward to the present, and we find ourselves reflecting on the journey that commenced almost 16 years ago. Looking back, we can now unequivocally affirm that our clients were right. The choices they made, rooted in their passion for timeless materials, have proven to be visionary. Makrana White marble and Teak Wood, just as mesmerizing today as they were 16 years ago, have stood the test of time with unwavering grace and elegance.

This project had an extraordinary twist that unfolded during the course of our practice. In a rare turn of events, what we initially envisioned as the main road transformed into the back, while a small service road unexpectedly expanded into a much wider thoroughfare. Fortunately, we had the foresight to consider both road facings and adeptly designed the building to harmonize with this serendipitous alteration.
Nestled in the enchanting town of Hassan, a luxurious masterpiece awaited its grand reveal. This sprawling 10,000 sqft house stood as a testament to our recent endeavors, where we skillfully blended architectural features with understated finishes, resulting in a truly unique final product.
Every inch of this abode was meticulously crafted to embody a sense of luxury and refined aesthetics. From the grand entrance to the serene living spaces, each element seamlessly intertwined to create an ambiance that exuded opulence and comfort.

This project delves into the extraordinary collaboration between team kenAR and a warm-hearted family. Together, they embark on a transformative mission, turning a 60' x 40' east-facing plot into a mesmerizing home with a G+3 structure boasting four bedrooms.
The team kenAR poured their creativity and expertise into designing the structure and furniture, crafting an ambiance that would reflect the family's unique style. As the project unfolded a new daughter-in-law joined the family during this very phase. Together, they embarked on a mission to transform the house into a cozy and stylish home. Once the main elements were in place, it was time to add those personal touches that truly make a house a home. The newly married couple took charge of selecting the perfect leather, curtains, and cushions to complement the overall design. With their keen eye for detail and shared vision, they brought warmth and character to every corner of the space. We proudly present to you the filled blank, the final result of their combined efforts.
